Kindra’s entry into running began with failure. Failure to make her high school soccer team. She transitioned to cross-country and ran in both high school and in college at Humboldt State University.
However, the stress of collegiate running, academics, and working left a toll on her body and she developed tendonitis in both of her Achilles.
After years of working on trails (clearing and maintenance), taking time off, and developing daily self-care routines, her running began to flourish. What she enjoys most of all is simply being out on trails with friends.
